We enjoy every job we are part of, whether it be a cocktail bar for a 150 person wedding or a hen party of ten and we love to share our experiences.
Here's what we've been up to lately......
Cocktail Bar - Milton Keynes
November 2025
Job #2 yesterday and we moved the bar next door to Doubletree Hilton, Milton Keynes to serve 250 cocktails at the Pest Control News dinner.
Espresso Martinis, Porn Star Martinis and James Bond Vespa Martinis went down an absolute treat after dinner.

Cocktail Class - Milton Keynes
November 2025
Remember, remember the 5th of November - we did four bonfire night themed mini-cocktail classes at an exhibition in Milton Keynes.
This was our second event for Pest control company Killgerm and their ‘in the mix’ initiative.
Loved being part of it and everybody had great fun making their 'Flamed Killgerm Firework' cocktails.
More importantly nobody was burned and no fire alarms were set off in the making of these cocktails!!!

Bartender Hire - Wrexham & Liverpool
October 2025
On the last weekend of October we spent Friday and Saturday working for EBar: installing and assisting on their amazing self service beer machines.
Friday we were at AFC Wrexham (who just happened to be playing our beloved Coventry City!) where we sold 500 pints from three machines.
On Saturday we moved to Everton's brand new Hill Dickinson Stadium where England and Australia competed for the Ashes of Rugby League while fans drank 8500 pints from our 18 machines!

We were delighted to be back at The Boot Inn with out fun casino tables celebrating Tracey's 60th birthday on Saturday 17th October.
Highlight of the night was presenting a 'mystery prize' to Tracey which was actually a trip to Las Vegas courtesy of her very generous daughter, Gemma.
The guests kept us busy once again and we loved every minute of our time there.
Hope to be back again next year and hear all the stories from the Vegas trip!

A bit further than we normally travel, but we loved our trip to Ross-on-Wye to host a Musical themed cocktail master class for Carryn and her 21 strong hen party.
The girls enjoyed making 'Dirty Dancing The Musical Daiquiris', 'Moulin Rouge Martini's' and Les Miserables Mojitos'
Carryn's daughter, Elle, and her best friend lay were centre stage and the stars of the show as they were crowned best cocktails makers on the night.

Cocktail Bar - The Belfry, Sutton Coldfield
September 2025
As a huge golf fan, there was no greater pleasure than being asked to set up a bar between the iconic 10th tee and 18th green at The Belfry during Ryder Cup week.
The bar was part of a charity event for Boparan where golfers had the opportunity to create their own cocktail after the round, with prizes for the best creations based on taste, name and appearance.
We didnt realise until after the event that singer Gareth Gates had taken part in the competition, and former snooker world champion Dennis Taylor (not part of the event) also popped along to see what was going on.

Just a quiet night in for Blakes 18th!!!
What a crazy night we have with a house party including cocktails and the loudest guitar set we've ever played!
Blakes friends and family smashed a menu of cocktails that included Sex on the Beach, Flamed Tiki Punch, Strawberry Daiquiri's, Mango & Pineapple Mojito, Singapore Sling and Pina Coladas all named after the man himself.
The night was concluded with raucous renditions of many Oasis songs including Half The World Away, Wonderwall and Don't Look Back in Anger.

What Vegas themed hen party would be complete without a roulette table and a bit if fun gaming?
We attended this stunning country mansion in Melton Mowbray for Maddy's final fling, and her favourite group of girlies enjoyed an hours roulette before converting the table to blackjack for another hours gambling.
Husband to be Isaac was splashed all over the fun money and it was his Mum who ended up as the biggest winner taking home a bottle of Cava!

Our last job of August and we were hit with Autumn showers for Marleys 18th birthday garden party.
The rain didn't dampen anybodies spirits though as a DJ banged out the tunes and pizza's were cooked to order.
All of the above were washed down with a great selection of tailored cocktails including Marley's Martini (Porn Star Martini) Pop'Quorn' Martini, Foxes on Fire (Flamed Tiki Punch), Pooki's Purple Rain, Coops Cafe (Espresso Martini) and Boogaloo Bellini's
There were also a few Baby Guinness flying around. Happy 18th Marley!!

It's been a while since we had our casino tables out, and now we've had them hired twice in as many weeks.
Wooton Park in Henley-in-Arden is a gorgeous venue in the heart of Warwickshire, and Harry and Abi were equally as stunning on their big day.
Lee and Helen dealt roulette and blackjack for the guests as they arrived from the ceremony and they had until their evening meal to win the most chips.
No big winners at this one, with our champion finishing with just 60 chips from her starting stack of 20!!
Wishing Mr & Mrs Tonks far more luck for married life!
BARTENDER HIRE - Grantham

Bank holiday weekend and Charlotte and Lois invited their wedding guests back for a second day of partying.
Lee, Dan and Libby went along thinking a steady shift was in store - how wrong we would be!
Cocktails, beers and many a Baby Guinness was made in a ten hour shift that saw us leave with shirtless men and ladies dancing on the bar top!
A fun, eventful shift and one very satisfied party!

We were at the gorgeous Field Head Farm in Staffordshire on Saturday night for Kirsty's festival themed hen party.
The girls enjoyed making 'Download Daiquiri's', 'Parklife Porn Star's' and 'Glaston Berry Bramble's'.
All made some cracking cocktails and were a great laugh from start to finish.
Keeley and Lauren were crowned festival cocktail headliners though, winning the title after a tight decider!

We were in wonderful Wolverhampton on Saturday night to celebrate the 50th birthday of twins Lisa and Jane.
A beautiful evening graced a gorgeous setting as the twins invited friends and family for rock music, fish & chips and our fabulous cocktails.
Lee was joined by Kat, Gabe, Libby and Phoebe producing 300 cocktails from a list of Bramble, Strawberry Daiquiri, Aperol Spritz, Porn Star Martini, Mojito and Espresso Martinis.
Roll on their 51st I say!!

Two days, two beautiful gardens, two girly cocktail nights!
We started the weekend in Leicestershire with a cocktail bar and garden draped in sunshine, enjoying a BBQ and unlimited cocktails.
Saturday was a little wetter but great to be back in Chinnor where last year we were celebrating Laura's hen party and now it's become a yearly garden get together!
The cocktails were great, food was amazing and company at both was brilliant with gardens filled with joy, fun and laughter.
COCKTAIL CLASS - Corley, Coventry

Living in Coventry we don't realise the stunning countryside we have on our doorstep and Rhiannon and her hen party were equally as gorgeous.
A cocktail master class of Blueberry Flips, which a group of nurses didn't mind getting they hands dirty whiting the eggs for, Spiced Pineapple Margarita's and Espresso Martinis.
The girls from London and Wilshire loved the Midland's air, especially Emma and Millie, who were crowned cocktail Queens.
Stonehouse Farm in Corley is definitely a venue we'll be keen to go back to.

With Lee entertaining VIP's at Silverstone for the British Grand Prix, it was left to Tom to entertain our VIP Midland Mixo's guests.
Lauran's hen party shook up Flamed Tiki Punch's, Porn Star Martini's and Tequila Sunrise with lots of fun and laughs along the way.
It was a quick exit for Tom as the girls were just warming up or a drag act that immediately followed.
We await finding out who was the best entertainer!

It was a little break from cocktail bars and cocktail classes as Lee worked on the busy bars of Glastonbury Festival.
Working eight hours a day for five days serving beer, sprits and cocktails in 'Silvers Bar' in the VIP area of the festival.
A lifelong dream for Lee as he mixed his love of music, bartending and having fun!

When a good friend is getting married there's only one thing for it - make sure you're doing his fiances hen party!!
Hannah had a selection of friends and family in her back garden in Coventry on a glorious summers day.
Making Flamed Tiki Punch, Porn Star Martini's and Strawberry Mojito's was great fun and Hannah herself was awarded 'best cocktail maker'
A 10pm power cut wasn't in the plans but luckily the guitar was in the van and the party enjoyed singing along to a few tunes.
Best of luck to Hannah and Ged on their wedding day.

A little bit further than we normally travel but in glorious sunshine how could we refuse a booking from our great friends at Mojito Events?!
And we're so glad that we did as Willington Lodge was absolutely stunning and the green bar was the perfect setting for a cocktail class.
Georgia, and her raucous, 18 strong, Dancing Queens from Liverpool enjoyed a class that paid homage to the Abba theme and her Greek wedding location.

What a beautiful day for a garden party - sun, a slight breeze, 30 friends and some superb Midland Mixo's cocktails!
Suzie, or 'Schmoo' as she was know on her tailored cocktail menu, enjoyed an afternoon cocktail bar with friends and family to wash down an amazing BBQ from Passion Food (see www.passion-food.co.uk).
Strawberry Daiquiris, Margaritas, Flamed Tiki Punch, Tiki Mojitos, Long Islands and Sex on The Beach were all as popular as each other as these girls planned to party throughout the night in Nottingham.

The sun doesn't always shine in England, so when it's raining outside, then why not brighten up the day with an indoor Hawaiian themed cocktails party?!
Thats exactly what Carrieann and her best friends from Bedworth did on a rainy Saturday in June.
It was certainly 'more rum, more fun' as four rum based cocktails were accompanied by a Porn Star Martini, lots of laughs and lots of smiles.
We even dusted off the guitar and had a 'merry' singalong at the end of the night.

Leamington Spa (May 2025)
It's rare during summer that we'll have time and availability to work as mixologists at wedding venues, but Riverside Glasshouse is one venue we'll ALWAYS make time for.
This stunning venue, based in Jephson Gardens, is one of our favourite, and the management exemplify how a venue should look after its staff and guests alike.
Two weddings over two days at the end of May saw us make cocktails galore, including a large amount of 'Greek Sunrise' - created by us to compliment th Greek themed dinner on that day.
Cocktail Class - East Leake, Leicestershire (May 2025)
We were back at Foxhill Barns in East Leake for the second time in three weeks over the bank holiday weekend and were once again blown away by this stunning venue.
As the weather was better, we went outside for Karis' hen party cocktail class and we served up 'Foster Fizz', 'Kaz'mopolitan' 'Mrs Martini's' and 'Bride to Be Daiquiri'.
It was great fun from minute on as the party of 16 enjoyed great company, cracking cocktails and stunning views before Kirsty and Shannon were crowned cocktail queens.
Cocktail Class - Chester (May 2025)
There's nothing we enjoy more than working for old friends, so when a work colleague from 15 years ago was getting married, we were happy to be on hand!
Tracey, and her hen party of ten, which included a number of former TGI Fridays Coventry employees, were blessed with fabulous weather for their weekend in Chester.
Their cocktails class included Cosmo's, Pina Colada, Porn Star Martinis and LOTS of laughs.

What an absolutely stunning house this was. Set in the rolling hills of Great Malvern, a gorgeous lake, stunning grounds, a mall vineyard and a grand house..... and bright sunshine!
We set up on the patio for Laurens hen party and her guests were equally as gorgeous as the house as the prepare for her Tuscan wedding in July.
A tailored menu of Amaretto Sour, Spiced Margaritas, Tiki Mojitos, Porn Star Martini's and Popcorn Martini's - the perfect aperitifs before and Italian feast.

Another new venue for us this one and thanks to Mojito Events for letting us be part of it.
We were the warm up for a Disco themed evening, with Espresso Martini's finishing the night off so these Diva's could party the night away.... with a silent Disco Disco.
A group that were great fun from start to finish despite flashes of red from the day times early summer sunshine!
Cocktail Class - Tamworth-in-Arden (May 2025)
Civilised is not normally a word I use to describe hen parties that I attend, but this was certainly one of them.
As we followed massages, drawing Highland cows and a spot of crochet the requested cocktails were Old Fashioned's, Johnnie Walker Black Pina Coladas and Tiramasu Martini's.
Our cocktail class certainly delivered better than the Uber Eats driver who gave up looking for the property and left the girls hungry and scrambling for a late night McDonalds!
Cocktail Class - The Forest of Arden (May 2025)
A last minute booking for children's charity The Boparan Charitable Trust at the glorious Forest of Arden golf club.
As 90 delegates played golf, the non-golfers were kept entertained with Axe Throwing, cider tasting and our cocktail class which saw half the party shaking up cocktails that reflected the person in which the fundraiser was in memory of - Big, Bold and Colourful.
Tennessee Iced Tea for big, Spiced Margarita for Bold and Sex on the Beach for Colourful.
Everybody left merry and happy and we slipped off as the room was transformed for the evenings dinner and presentations.
Cocktail Class - Drayton Manor Theme Park
(April 2025)
We were the fun stop on a company training day - and didn't the delegates have fun during their hour with us!
Killgerm requested that there was 'smoke and fire' during the cocktails class that was to fit the brief of mixing chemicals, and boy did we deliver!
First up was a Smoking Cosmo and this was followed by a Bubble Bath Porn Star - both gastronomic twists on the classic cocktails.
Everyone went away very merry from this and hopefully all completed the day's activities.
Cocktail Class - Wollaston, Shropshire
(March 2025)
I grew up fantasising over The Spice Girls - so imagine my delight when 16 of them turned up to this cocktail master class near Shrewsbury!
It was our first time to Wollaston Lodge, which was a gorgeous house and had beautiful views over the Shropshire countryside.
Our mix of Ginger, Posh, Scary, Baby and Sporty told us what they want, what they really really want, and that was to mix up a great selection of Cosmo's, Porn Star Martini's and Sex on The Beach.
Thanks to Mojito Events for booking us in for this one.
Unlimited cocktails - Redditch
(March 2025)
This was our third visit to Sarah's house in Redditch, and these ladies need no excuses for a girls night in!
They are connoisseurs of our cocktails, and this time went for English Country Garden, Purple Rain, Amaretto Sours, Flamed Tiki Punch and Singapore Slings on the menu alongside a couple of shooters to help wash them down!
After two hours of cocktail drinking, we finished the night with a few songs on the guitar.

When your best friends are about to move to Abu Dhabi what better way to say goodbye then an afternoon of free flowing cocktails?!
Amy and Sam were just two days from leaving their friends and family behind so they were treated to a tailored cocktail menu which included Aperol Spritz, Old Fashioned, Cosmopolitan, French Martini and Espresso Martini's.

A group of Diva's is a scary prospect for any cocktail class host - but these were the nicest group of Diva's we know.
Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Scary Spice, Claudia Winkleman & co were the perfect guests in this intimate cocktail class in the beautiful Bakewell countryside.

And we couldn't agree more as Hannah decided to see in the last year of her 30's in style.
Our tailored menu included some brilliant photos of Hannahs 39 years of nights out and a selection of Mojito's, Bramble's, June Bug's, Porn Star Martini's, Aperol Spritz and Long Island Iced Tea's.
Can't wait to be back for the 40th, although Hannah maybe isn't looking forward to it as much as us!
Cocktail Class - Midsomer Norton (February 2025)
There's two things we love at The Midland Mixo's - being invited back by previous clients, and a themed cocktail class.
After doing a cocktail class for Karens first daughter in September, we were delighted to be invited back for daughter number 2, even though it meant a three hour drive to deepest darkest Somerset.
The Abba themed class worked a treat, and including many renditions of Abba songs, Lee in fancy dress and a tailored cocktail menu which included The Swedish Flag, as beautifully modelled above.
